Tell the fans a little about yourself.
Hey, everybody, it’s your girl Wankaego from Orlando, Florida. I’m a WorldStarHipHop honey, video vixen, entrepreneur, makeup artist, hair stylist, musician… I’m just the shit. If you don’t know about me, you better ask somebody.
What type of musician are you?
I’m a hip-hop artist. I’m a female MC. I’ve been doing that for the past three and a half years, and I’ve opened up for several major artists. I’m at the point where my management is showing me to a few different labels. I’ve done a lot for myself on my own, so I’m proud to say that.
Is modeling your main career, or is it just one of your many ventures?
It’s one of my ventures. I love to model. I started off as a makeup artist working from behind the scenes, but the photographers talked me into getting in front of the camera. I never tried to make it into a career but I found success in it anyway, so I’m trying to take it to the next level.
Now that you’re famous, have you had any problems with men?
I ain’t worried about no nigga. I don’t have time for that. It’s a distraction and it’s going to hold me back. I’m not married and I don’t have a ring on my finger so I’m just focused on getting this paper. If I’m going to worry about a man, he should be trying to wife me up, and if you’re not trying to wife me up, you better step to the side and have a seat.
